While cleaning out my closet I found a number of shirts that have fallen off the hangers and were left resting on my closet floor. I only have so many hangers with grips on them and it’s annoying trying to shuffle shirts to match the wider necks with the better hangers. It was time to try the no slip hangers pin I’ve had stashed away for months.
The process is really easy. Grab a few hangers that you want to upgrade, wait until the hot glue gun is in fact hot, and drizzle the glue on in a zig zag pattern. The hot glue dries fairly quickly. I held it for about a minute before I placed it on wax paper to finish drying.
I tested it out on one of my older, yet favorite shirts just to see if it worked. It was incredible! It made such a strong grip, but didn’t ruin my shirt. There were no rough edges because of the glue, so there is nothing to snag the fabric.

This works great! I’d highly suggest it. I can’t wait to do this on the rest of my bad hangers. |
